The recyclability target
To step up the recycling of packaging waste in order to meet the targets set by the European Union by 2030. Efforts are prioritised on materials that have not met the 2025 targets (plastics, aluminium and steel).
Producer Responsabily Organisations can draw on several measures to achieve these targets: introducing incentives for the incorporation of recycled materials, supporting sorting at source (particularly for plastic), improving the traceability of material flows, or encouraging reuse.
