The professional packaging sector is set to change from 1 July 2026.
To remain compliant and continue to benefit from CITEO PRO’s services, you must take out a new contract.
Once your registration is complete, you will have access to a dedicated Customer Portal for managing your professional packaging, featuring tools and services that build on our existing support.

As a producer, you are required to cover the costs of managing the end-of-life of your professional packaging (reuse, sorting, collection, treatment).

How is your eco-contribution calculated?
The contribution is calculated based on the weight of the materials making up the declared packaging. The more compact, reusable and/or recyclable the packaging is, the lower the contribution.

Frequently asked questions from producers
Specific to each EPR scheme, this will enable the identification of every company or entity registered with an accredited organisation and subject to the principle of EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility).
You do not need to take any action to obtain it from ADEME.
As soon as you join, we will take the necessary steps to obtain your unique identifier from ADEME and will provide it to you as soon as possible directly via your customer portal.
Whether you are already a member of CITEO or another Producer Responsability Organisation, if you are subject to the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme for commercial packaging, you will also need to join CITEO PRO or an approved eco-organisation to ensure you are compliant.
If you are already a customer of another subsidiary of the CITEO group (CITEO Household Packaging and Paper, Adelphe or CITEO Care & Hygiene), you will need to re-enter your company details when joining. You will benefit from a streamlined process, designed to make it easier to switch from one EPR scheme to another.
